Gina Fogelsonger is an accomplished IT professional of more than 30 years with extensive expertise in Project, Program, and Portfolio Management. Gina got her start in the IT professional as a code developer and rapidly advanced into varying IT roles including database design, system administration, system design, business analysis, and project, program, and portfolio management. She has worked in both higher education and the private section at a Fortune 5 company. Gina has led projects and programs with up to 60+ partipants and managed a department leading the development, implementation, and management of IT development process integration project management principles with the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Complex integrated systems launched include ERP, CRM, DW/BI, and ECM, and others.
Gina holds an MSA in Information Resource Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Organizational Development. She obtained her PMP certification in 2002. She has consulted to stand up PMOs and establish right-sized project management, including Agile disciplines.
Gina served 4 years on the PCM Advisory Group, including as the AG Chair. Further, she served HEUG as Program Chair for a successful Alliance 2025 after serving the 2 previous years as 2024 Senior Program Assistant and 2023 Junior pProgram Assistant.
