What Alliance Is

The Alliance Conference is an annual user-driven conference of application users from all over the world. The conference includes 3000+ attendees, 100+ exhibitors participating in 300+ educational sessions in 16 tracks.

For over 20 years the educational sessions/workshops have been presented by users, strategists, developers, and vendors. Senior-level Oracle executives present roadmap sessions to provide information about the future direction of their applications. During the conference, ‘Meet the Experts’ sessions are held for attendees to discuss issues directly with Oracle strategists and developers for their business needs. The Solution Center provides the ability to meet multiple vendors, see product demos, and discuss service offerings in a variety of areas. Networking opportunities are available while the ‘Stop and Share’ sessions provide designated meeting times for users to discuss their specific issues with other Oracle application users.

All applications users, Higher Education User Group (HEUG) and Public Sector User Group (PSUG) are welcome. Come be a part of this excellent user-centered conference!

Where Alliance 2020 Will Be

Located in the heart of downtown Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Convention Center is the home of Alliance 2020!

We are extremely pleased to have Philadelphia as our host city for Alliance 2020, home to treasured landmarks of America’s founding such as Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Everyone knows there is a lot of American history to see in Philly - after all it is the first UNESCO world heritage city in the United States. But that's not all: modern Philadelphia is also a vibrant and diverse city offering world class shopping, dining, museums and sporting events – something for just about everyone to enjoy.

The opportunity for networking is perhaps the most valuable part of Alliance for me. The presentations are great, but the best part is talking with colleagues at other institutions and solving problems together.


There were a lot of sessions very timely and applicable to what I do supporting technology for our users. I was thrilled to see future-forward technology such as Activity Guide Composer, Cloud, etc.


The presenters are so knowledgeable and willing to help. Oracle's presence is a huge plus as well. Being able to talk and stay in touch with them really helps me with my job.
