Join us at the Higher Education User Group (HEUG) Alliance Conference to see how Towson University, the second-largest public institution in Maryland, is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive campus while ensuring student success through innovation in enrollment management. This insightful case study will delve into Towson University's partnership with EduLab, a technology platform designed to assist with improving student retention and success.

Background:
Towson University, with its 20,000 enrolled students across diverse programs, stands firmly committed to fostering a multicultural campus that aligns with Maryland's principles of access, equity, and student achievement. The university's strategic enrollment plan places great emphasis on recruiting, retaining, and graduating high-caliber students while offering outstanding student success services.

In this presentation, we will explore the collaborative efforts of Towson University and EduLab to achieve these goals. Specifically, using AI-driven text conversations to better allocate resources and conduct targeted outreach. Towson University used EduLab services to:

Improve student retention by identifying roadblocks during registration periods.
Improve student success by targeting students for outreach who have been identified as “at risk.”

We will discuss the effectiveness of meeting these goals by reviewing case study data, discussing where additional improvements can be made, and exploring where this model could benefit other university outreach.
