Come join us to learn about how UNC Chapel Hill's Enterprise Applications group uses a standard process to ensure best possible solutions and highest customer satisfaction. This process has 3 checkpoints for review called Analysis Review Board (ARB), Design Planning Review (DPR), and Quality Review Board (QRB). All 3 of these checkpoints leverage a singular, consolidated document to capture all analysis and design aspects, along with charter elements. This document is used collaboratively between project management, business analysts, and solution designers to develop comprehensive 1-stop documentation used for checkpoint reviews and go/no-go decisions.

Tell us about you!: Accomplished IT professional of more than 35 years with extensive expertise in Project, Program, and Portfolio Management. Started the IT professional as a code developer and rapidly advanced into varying IT roles including database design, system administration, system design, business analysis, and project, program, and portfolio management. Worked in both higher education and the private sector at a Fortune 5 company. Presently manages high-complexity, cross-functional projects and programs. History includes management of a department over IT development processes integrating with project management principles leveraging the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile approaches. Complex integrated systems implemented include ERP, CRM, DW/BI, ECM, and others.
Holds an MSA in Information Resource Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Organizational Development. PMP certification in 2002, CCMP certification in 2020, and Six-Sigma Greenbelt in 2004. Has consulted to stand up successful PMOs and establish right-sized project management, including Agile disciplines.
