In this session, participants will learn how Miami Dade College (MDC), created a new admissions application and new on-boarding student experience for the student of today. Learning from students and informed by data, we engaged in an intentional and collaborative process to reimagine the way we approached admission at MDC. In this presentation, we will share what led us to evaluate our admissions application and processes and how we responded by collaborating with a cross-division and multi-faceted team. A demonstration of the student-centric application, challenges faced and how we addressed them will also be discussed.
