Description:

This session will demonstrate how Miami Dade College (MDC) led change for 8 campuses by using design thinking, campus conversations and evidence-informed decision making to redesign the overall student experience for the student of today. Topics such as intersection of student support strategies and interventions, deconstructing and disrupting traditional higher education ideologies, and creating a culture of care will be at the center of this conversation. We will discuss challenges faced, how we addressed them and what we learned through the process. This presentation will provide other institutions the “how to” to move forward in order to embrace and support change.
