After many Digital Transformation efforts, universities face the challenge of the Silo-verse: multiple cloud and backend systems that store and manage the organization's processes and data but aren't aligned to deliver a unified, engaging experience for students. In this talk, we will review how to build and deploy a modern digital Student CX that is functional, consistent, responsive, visually pleasing, logically organized, and scalable across any type of technology stack. We will present the journey of Stanford University and its challenges regarding its Student Portal and its digital ecosystem and how a unique, innovative approach enabled the organization to transform its user journeys within months.
