Track: Technical and Reporting

Session Number: 9887
Date: Tue, Feb 28th, 2023
Time: 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Description:

PSQuery’s Union rules can be extremely frustrating, even for intermediate users. But most of them can be circumvented or overcome once you learn the tricks. In the second session of this 2-part series, you will learn (in plain non-technical terms that even a Functional Analyst can understand): How to create queries with multiple Union levels
The common PSQuery Error messages you’ll see, and what they mean
The importance of aligning your fields
How to cheat, uh.. work around PSQuery’s rules and make that Union work for YOU!
Expressions: The Shop Stewards of Union-ized queries can be VERY useful
SQL operators <OR> what to do when PSQuery goes on strike
How much Mtn. Dew the presenter consumes in two hours (hint: he's a Data Analyst)
This session is intended for non-technical and semi-technical users. Specifically Functional Analysts, Operations Analysts/Techs, Managers, Junior Data Analysts, etc.

This is Part 2 of a two-part series. Part 1 is session #9549.
