Inspiration: Given the increase in attacks on Higher Ed over the past few years University of Colorado leadership directed University information systems to assess our ability to patch our PeopleSoft environments within 7 days.
Result: This is the story about why we did that, how we got there. This made us focus on improving 3 key components business justification(why), technology(how) and process improvements(how). We were able to get down the CPU patching timeline from 10 to14 days to 4 days.
