In 2021, Lone Star College (LSC) initiated the transition to Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budget Cloud Service (EPBCS) for budget & workforce planning, narrative reporting, and accounts reconciliation.  The migration was completed earlier this year thereby fulfilling a vision to modernize these business functions. The following will be presented: Vision - why EPBCS?  LSC background and need for systems modernization Implementation approach - to partner or not to partner? Key decisions - lift and shift vs customization vs vanilla out-of-the-box? Communication and change management. Epilogue - potholes and pitfalls - lessons learned.
