Come and see how the Cal State University system developed a custom short form for former students to more easily fill out and be welcome back to their campus.  The purpose of this project was to lower the barrier for returning students that left the university for a short period of time for financial, personal, or more recently the pandemic related reasons. We wanted to welcome them back to the campus without having them fill out an entire admissions application. In this session, you will see the custom short admissions application for a returning applicant in Student Center, the administrator version of the application, and the magic behind how an application is created with minimal responses from the applicant.
