Simplifying Access to Advising Notes for Students

Track: Student Information System (SIS)

Session Number: 9819
Date: Wed, Mar 1st, 2023
Time: 10:15 AM - 10:45 AM

Description:

The delivered functionality for students getting to Advising Notes is pretty cumbersome and buried.  In an institution with multiple Advisors assigned to students, students have to hunt for who said what and when and their fingers get carpal tunnel from all the clicks.  So we built a simply add-on fluid page and dropped it into their self service that lets them view all of their advisors notes at once order chronologically.  Its a great quick win for our students and supports putting important notes in their hands as quick and painless as possible.
