Choose your own adventure: How eForms transformed security access requests
Track: Technical and Reporting
Session Number: 9745
Date: Tue, Feb 28th, 2023
Time: 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Description:
Concordia University has been live on Campus Solutions since January 2015 and has over 1800 administrative users on their Student Information System that have access beyond the default dynamically assigned security roles. Each of these users has their access or revocation of access requested using one of several PDF forms depending on the requesting faculty or administrative unit. Management of these requests became extremely cumbersome as they were routed through the university ticketing system and distributed on shared folders.
Concordia successfully used GT eForms to replace these multiple forms with a single eForm which has streamlined both the efficiency of the request submission as well as decreased the response time for approving and executing the requests.
This presentation will demonstrate how we implemented the eForm solution from the form design, notifications, security configuration and workflow to the eForm launch and discuss what is still to come.
