Description:
Data Futures is a HESA transformation programme established in 2017, which aims to deliver a modernised and more efficient approach to data collection and dissemination to a wide range of data users. A HESA Data Futures programme of work was initiated to prepare Queen's University to meet the new requirements through changes to technology, processes and ways of working to meet the challenges of in-year reporting. Off Venue Activity is the focus of the collection and maintenance of data relating to students who are away from campus for a period of twenty days or more, originally classified by Queen's as Placement Data. As part of the solution Queen's University built a bolt on page to the mobility data tab within the HESA instance page of campus solutions. The page allowed us to easily customise aspects of the data to meet our own requirements plus also allowed the ability to build a sleek upload process to enable key stakeholders to upload their data efficiently.
