Tell us about you!: I began in Higher Ed in 2017 as Financial Specialist in Student Financials with handling all things payments/waivers/charges related. After working in that role for a year and developing a general understanding of how Peoplesoft works, I started to work more heavily with our Business Analyst and learning all things as it relates to the "backend" of student Financials. When our prior Business Analyst left just about a year ago, I jumped right into the role and thoroughly enjoy doing all the set up necessary to make "it" work. While there are consisent challenges that Financials are faced with due to ever changing programs that the University starts, I have the privilege of working with great and very knowledgable coworkers.

I've attended just one MIDHEUG conference thus far in Downers Grove in 2019 during which I really delved more into Student Financials and Peoplesoft. I also enjoyed the networking during the conference as well. I look forward to going to many more conferences in the future where I can continue to futher my knowledge and continue the networking.
