It’s that time of year again, the dreaded 1098T season. But wait, we’re here to help you this year! Learn about how we made a small customization in the system to save thousands of dollars in labor and postage associated with mailing thousands of 1098T forms. Through a small, customized auto-consent process, we have gone from printing close to 40,000 1098Ts in our system to only printing a handful of forms now across 11 different institutions.

Tell us about you!: Deidre currently serves as an Assistant Director/Business Analyst for the North Dakota University System (NDUS.) She has worked as a business analyst in the Student Financials area for over 15 years and has served in the Assistant Director position since July 2017. NDUS is a multi-institutional system made up of 11 separate campuses. NDUS has utilized the delivered consent functionality since 2009 and implemented the auto-consent process in 2019. Ashley currently servers as a Business Analyst in the Student Financials module for the North Dakota University System (NDUS). She has worked in the Student Financials area for 8 years. Prior to her current position, she was an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Mayville State University. Currently NDUS utilizes PeopleSoft and has all 11 Business Units under one instance of PeopleSoft. As a Business Analyst, she works to support all 11 campuses with their Student Financial needs. As a system, NDUS upgraded to 9.2 fluid in July 2019 and is currently upgrading PeopleTools from 8.58 to 8.59.
