PEAM APT Program Transfer - from concept to Production and first use

Track: Student Information System (SIS)

Session Number: 9742
Date: Tue, Feb 28th, 2023
Time: 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Description:

APT Program Transfer is a new feature in Program Enrollment within the Programme Enrollment and Activity Management (PEAM) module. It allows an administrator to transfer a student from one program to an active program and to 'match' when a similar course is detected allowing courses to be transferred.

When a student is moving to a different program within the same institution there is an existing option to create a new APT. In some cases a student is moving to a similar program where courses taken on the 'old' program will 'count' on the active program. This functionality allows the matching and transfer of academic items.

Developed by Oracle in conjunction with the universities of Belfast, Nottingham and Manchester, the University of Nottingham is currently reviewing the enhancement with a view to first use of functionality in the 2022-2023 academic year.

This session reviews the work of the three universities working collaboratively with Oracle, the functionality and first use.
