Join a diverse panel from Pittsburg State University to learn about our journey of leading change through the implementation of a new ERP! PSU is an Oracle Cloud campus. We have implemented: ERP (finance/purchasing) and HCM (human resources). We are the process of implementing FMC (financial aid), and will soon begin the implementation of SMC (student). Join us to hear about our journey of working with campus on re-engineering processes, change management, and all the politics that go along with it! During the panel you will hear from the Director of Admissions and Financial Assistance, the Director of IT Process and Project Management, the Director of Development and Implementation, and the Chief Information Officer. This group will be prepared to share what we've done well and where we have learned lessons.

Tell us about you!: Angela Neria has been the Chief Information Officer at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS since 2010. Since her time at PSU, she has worked on many projects including leading a team of campus stakeholders through the development, design, and execution of strategic campus-wide information technology plans, the organizational restructure of campus IT, the implementation of many major technology systems & policy changes, and the facilitation of Leadership PSU. Before her appointment at PSU, she served as the CIO for The Joplin Public School System in Joplin, MO. Throughout those years, she was responsible for all operational and instructional technology needs at the institution. During her time at Joplin, she was also responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the iTEK instructional technology program, which resulted in state and national recognition. She believes that her experience and exposure to K-12 has benefited her greatly in the higher education environment.
Angela has presented at many state, regional, and national conferences regarding instructional technology in today's educational environment, IT strategic planning, leadership and collaboration throughout the IT implementation process, creating buy-in during change, and IT disaster recovery.
Angela has a BBA, MBA, and EdS all from Pittsburg State University. She has completed the Harvard College of of Graduate School of Education Institute for Higher Education. She serves on many local, regional, and national committees, councils, and boards with groups such as Bright Futures, The Southwest Center, KanREN, MHEC, and EDUCAUSE.
