A discussion and demonstration of various File Parsers which Duke University utilizes to ensure data consistency and integrity. Also a method or two on extending / overcoming data file description issues.
In addition to various File Parsers, we will show our file management process and how it incorporates into the data flow. The use of PS Query to help identify data issues and create the "fix" file for the subsequent File Parser will be demonstrated.
