Date: Mon, Feb 27th, 2023
Time: 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Description:

Learn how University of Texas System Administration is using the information from Purchase Order Roll Traces to understand how PO Roll processing really works.  During this presentation we will be reviewing most of the main processes that are used for running Purchase Order Roll and the what each step is really doing. The steps which will be reviewed in this presentation are Purchase Order Roll View, Workbench, Purchase Order Roll 1, and Purchase Order Roll 2. This presentation will help attendees answer the following questions: What is Purchase Order Roll and how can this be used in PeopleSoft? What are the main steps of Purchase Order Roll? How does each step work? Why are Purchase Orders selected/deselected during specific steps of Roll Processing? Why is my Purchase Order listed? I know it should be there! The University of Texas System’s Office of Shared Information Services supports 7 University of Texas institutions on PeopleSoft Portal, Campus Solutions (CS), Human Capital Management (HCM), and Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) applications and has worked in the past few years to implement PeopleSoft FSCM and HCM Fluid functionality for a campus on a non-ERP as well as upgraded to 9.2 from PeopleSoft 9.1 for 6 campuses. Both systems have been recently upgraded to PeopleTools 8.59.06. With goals and objectives distinct from mere centralization, our office works closely with the participating institutions to not only support but enhance their business operations with innovative solutions.
