Agenda
Estimated Packaging Simplified
Track: Student Information System (SIS)
Session Number: 9805
Date: Mon, Feb 27th, 2023
Time: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Description:
“Why would you do that to yourselves!” – a question I often ask myself when reading other colleges’ Financial Aid HEUG listserv entries about estimated packaging. Over the 22 years that the University of Minnesota has used PeopleSoft for preparing full-time financial aid estimates for ‘new admits’ at our 5 campuses, we have discovered some innovative ways of making the packaging and notification of estimates as easy and seamless as possible. This presentation will overview the methods that we use to avoid headaches between New Years and Father’s Day every year. No Pell chart re-loads or Pell packaging/repackaging issues. We are happy to share any and all ideas that you may find useful to incorporate into your estimating procedures.
