This two-part series will demonstrate how Penn State's Graduate School has pulled various system resources together to change a completely manual and paper-based process into an efficient automated process for doctoral comprehensive and final exams. We are using a combination of Gideon Taylor eForms, Student Milestones, Candidate Management, Evaluation Management System, and 3C communications to dramatically improve the process, and our graduate programs and faculty couldn't be happier! Even a new user will come away with something they can take back to their institutions. This is Part 1 of a two-part series. Part 2 is session #9657.
