Description:

Arizona State University recently developed a Research/Teaching Assistant and Fellowship award tool that enables academic staff and faculty the ability to enter centrally-funded financial awards requiring multiple managerial approvals and audit controls. This tool provides an entry point to award Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant benefits as well as manage and distribute graduate fellowship awards across the university. This presentation will explore the following: Overview of the award tool. Explore ASU’s use of PeopleSoft Fluid design. Provide best practices for how ASU is using Pivot Grids to streamline fellowship award reporting. Implementation of a custom workflow to manage award approvals.

He is responsible for supervising the Graduate College's enterprise Data and Technology team, and serves as liaisons between functional and technical areas providing user support for PeopleSoft and other computer applications, writing functional and technical specifications, creating analytical reports/data dashboards, and developing and deploying technology solutions.

He has been employed in Higher Education since 2011 and has Bachelor of Art degrees in Business and Environmental Studies from Lake Forest College. Steven’s strengths include communication, business analysis, and process design. Notable systems experience includes Oracle, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Tableau, and Alteryx.
