Submit a Session

Session Types

The Alliance conference offers a variety of session lengths and formats for presenters to accommodate their topics. Please review the time frames to determine which one is most suitable to the topic you wish to present.

Panel Sessions are in depth discussion with several knowledgeable speakers about specific issues or topics. Primary presenters and up to 4 co-presenters will receive a 25% discount on early bird registration regardless of the panel length.
Workshops cover complicated topics, suitable for in depth, hands on training. The workshops will start Wednesday after the last session, and conclude by 3:15pm. Lunch is provided for attendees and presenters. Primary Presenters will receive a 100% discount on Early Bird registration. In addition, one co-presenter will also receive a 100% discount on Early Bird registration. Workshop submissions must be submitted into the Workshop Track Only.
Example session topics could be in depth setup explanations, recently delivered product enhancements, etc. Primary presenters will receive a 100% discount on Early Bird registration.
Example regular session topics are typically explanation of projects, customizations, procedures, etc. Primary presenters will receive a 50% discount on Early Bird registration.
Example mini session topics are basic overviews, minor changes with big impact, etc. Primary presenters will receive a 25% discount on Early Bird registration.
Peer demos are short, hands-on demos by technical and functional users from HEUG institutions. Share real inside information to your peers on the front lines of bringing innovation to their institutions.  Peer demos are meant to be interactive, informal and instructive.  This session will take place in our Innovation Alley.  The attendees will rotate through the kiosk presentations every 15 minutes.  Primary presenters will receive a 25% discount on Early Bird registration.
Moderate an interactive group (up to 30 people) discussion on a current hot topic.  This session will take place in our Innovation Alley.  (For smaller groups, submit a topic for Stop & Share closer to the conference, or go to the big board onsite.  Primary presenters will receive a 25% discount on Early Bird registration.
Moderate a small group (up to 10 people) discussions about institutional issues, brainstorm with peers, make new contacts, and learn what others have done to reach a solution.  This session will take place in our Innovation Alley.  Presenters will NOT receive a discounted registration for this session.

Registration

Presenters are eligible for one (1) discount on the Early Bird Rate only.  Presenters selected for multiple sessions are eligible for one discount rate which provides the greatest benefit.  No other expenses are reimbursed by the Alliance conference. The registration discount is non-transferable.

General Membership Session Vote Opens
A General Membership Session Vote will occur to receive the membership's opinion on the submitted sessions. Voting is open to Institutional Members only.

Submission Results Notification
You will receive notification of your submission results via email no later than this date.

Confirm Your Presentation
Once selected, you will be required to confirm your acceptance of the invitation to present, and review other presentation details.

Housing & Registration Opens
Book your hotel at one of the official Alliance Conference Hotels to receive your presenter discount and then register to attend the conference.

Further instructions on presentation requirements will be provided in the notification email and in additional correspondence.

If your presentation was placed on-hold please do not register for Alliance 2020 until you have been notified the status of your presentation.
