Heavy, Light, or Just Right: Customizing a change and training program to your needs

Track: Project and Change Management

Session Number: 5826
Date: Mon, Mar 4th, 2019
Time: 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM
Room: SWAN - Macaw

Description:

When does end user adoption of an application really matter? It matters on the first day of go-live and every day after that. Whether you are implementing a new application or releasing new features for an existing application, organizational change management and end user training are two of three components needed for successful end user adoption. The question is often more about how much change management and training a project needs and how much can an organization afford. This presentation is for change management and training practitioners internally in an organization, consultants, and anyone in an organization needing change management and training for an application. Learn what change management and end user training is and is not, the basics of how to do it, practical examples, and how to figure out how much change management a project needs. Attendees will receive a toolkit of templates for some key change management activities.
