Date: Mon, Mar 4th, 2019
Time: 1:15 PM - 3:15 PM

Description:

Case Western Reserve University recently underwent an upgrade from Campus Solution 9.0 to 9.2. In addition to the upgrade, CWRU identified improving the User Experience (UX) for students and faculty as one of the top goals. In order to reach this goal, the project team adopted a UX methodology, which placed a large amount of emphasis on engaging users early in the project lifecycle, as well as working with functional and technical departments to gather continuous feedback across the board. This collaboration enabled the teams to use new Fluid UI tools to build a thoroughly user-tested solution, and deliver an improved and readily adopted user experience to the self-service audiences of Campus Solutions.
When starting a PeopleSoft upgrade that encompasses this type of design work, one may be left wondering – “where do we even start?” Join us as we take you through the explorations of two primary topics: 1) UX design methodology from start to finish, and 2) technical tools and features to bring designs to life.
