Description: In this 4-hour hands-on workshop, Jim Marion, noted Oracle Expert and PeopleSoft author/blogger, will guide you through a number of exercises where you will develop and practice advanced development techniques on the most recent versions of PeopleSoft.
In this session you will learn how to:
• Build fluid navigation elements using the new tile wizard
• Implement business logic using the Event Mapping Framework
• Add CSS and JavaScript to enhance classic components using the component branding framework
• Implement fluid search strategies
• Utilize various CSS strategies to layout a fluid page and component
• Use CSS and JavaScript to enhance a fluid page.
Attendees are expected to have general knowledge of PeopleTools and PeopleCode and will be expected to bring a laptop that they will use to remote desktop into environments for performing these exercises.
