Description:  PeopleSoft generates logs files that are usually ignored, but logs contain useful information. In this talk, we will look at different ways to manage and collect log files to extract information out of those logs using Elasticsearch and the Elastic Stack. PeopleSoft chose Elasticsearch to power PeopleSoft search and we can use the same technology to collect logs, extract data, and analyze log data. Elasticsearch and the Elastic Stack let us create dashboards that give us real-time data about our PeopleSoft systems from the logs it generates.
