Higher education has been the focus of my career for almost two decades. Over the last ten years at Stanford University, I've held key roles in Oracle projects such as the upgrade to 12.1.2, the implementation of multiple modules, and provided leadership on projects that enhanced the Oracle eBS user experience. Most recently, I have transitioned my focus to Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) in order to modernize the financial information delivery capabilities for the institution. In addition to ensuring that we are taking advantage of the interactive features of this technology, a significant focus of my effort has been the development of a strategic data architecture to support current and future business needs.
I was an active member in the Oracle eBS PAG since 2011 and performed the role of Assistant Track Chair, then Track Chair for 3 years. I took great pride in being the Track Chair of our advisory group and appreciated the opportunity it gave me to ensure that the content of presentations was both relevant and valuable to our growing community.
In 2015 I was elected to the HEUG Board of Directors as the EBS Representative. My role on the Board has also expanded and I am currently the Treasurer/VP of Finance. Managing the finances through the pandemic and beyond has been both rewarding and challenging.
Being a part of the HEUG community over the last 14 years has been a wonderful experience and a source of tremendous personal growth. I enjoy networking with numerous colleagues from around the world and have appreciated their advice and learning from their experiences which I've been able to apply throughout my career in higher education! In addition to reconnecting with old friends and colleagues at the next Alliance, I’m really looking forward to meeting new people and expanding our community.
